Microneedling Pen uses sterile needles to create microchannels in the surface of the skin which allows powerful skin rejuvenation products to penetrate the skin further while also stimulating the growth of collagen fibres by creating superficial breaks in the skin.
TRANSDERMAL DELIVERY SYSTEM
The Dermafix microneedling pen can create over half a million microchannels during a 5-10 minute treatment, 1,000-6,000 times a minute , penetrating deeper through the epidermis.
Due to protective function of skin barrier and big molecular size of ingredients 99.97% of the applied or sprayed nutritive elements cannot pass through the stratum corneum, which is the outermost layer, but remain on the skin and finally disappear. Dermafix is designed to create physical pathway through the upper epidermis to increase skin permeability and allow delivery of power solutions.
This encourages the absorption of active ingredients making it far easier for them to pass through the upper layer to cells deeper in the skin than a simple surface application with no needling would.

3. What makes the Dermafix device different from other microneedling devices?

4. Does microneedling hurt?

AFTER Microneedling
8. What can I expect after the treatment?
After the treatment, your skin may appear red and flushed, similar to a mild sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the treated areas, but this will subside within a few hours. Within 3-5 days, any visible signs of the procedure will be minimal, and you can resume wearing your usual makeup.
9. How should I care for my skin after the treatment?
You will be recommended an at-home skincare regimen to help keep your skin hydrated and protected. It is important to apply a sunscreen with at least SPF 25 to protect your skin from UV damage.
10. When will I see results from the treatment?
Please note that the effects of microneedling are not immediately visible, as the body requires time to produce collagen. However, you will begin to notice an improvement within two weeks.

Am I suitable?
Medical micro-needling is suitable for most skin types: dry, dehydrated skin, poor elasticity, wrinkles, fatigue, sagging, sun damage (photoaging), large pores, scars and uneven pigmentation.
It is not for patients:
- Used Accutane within the last 3 months;
- Open wounds, cuts or abrasions to the skin;
- Had radiation treatment within the last year;
- A current outbreak of herpes simplex (cold sores);
- Any other infection or chronic skin condition in the area to be treated;
- Areas of the skin that are numb or lack sensation;
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding;
- A history of keloid or hypertrophic scars or poor wound healing.
