Eyelash Extension Aftercare Guidelines

Our retention and bonding products are part of the NextGen range and are specially designed not to interfere with the quality or strength of the fresh adhesive bond.

To help maintain the health of your natural lashes and the longevity of your extensions, please follow the aftercare instructions below:

Water, Washing & Swimming

You can wet your lashes immediately after your appointment.
Water does not affect the adhesive or retention in any way.
Swimming is completely fine — whether in a pool, sea, or freshwater.
Just gently rinse your lashes afterward to remove chlorine, salt, or other residues, and follow with your regular cleansing routine.
Do not use makeup removal wipes around the eyes.
Instead, wash your lashes daily using a lash-safe cleanser.

Think of it like this: You wouldn’t clean your hair with just a wet wipe — you use shampoo and massage your scalp to truly cleanse it. Lashes are hair too, and wipes won't effectively clean them.

Makeup Use

Avoid waterproof makeup, especially mascara, eyeliners, and long-wear eyeshadows.
These products are difficult to remove and can weaken the bond of your lash extensions.
If you wear eye makeup, it must be water-washable and lash-extension safe. Always cleanse gently and thoroughly.

Avoid Physical Damage

No mechanical eyelash curlers.
These can snap or permanently damage the extensions.
Do not pull, rub, or twist your lashes.
This can lead to premature shedding or damage to your natural lashes.

Sleep with Care

Be mindful of your sleeping position.
Sleeping face-down or with your pillow pressing directly on your lashes may cause them to bend or fall out prematurely.

Lash Lifts & Perms

Do not perm or lift your lashes while wearing extensions.
Lash lifts must be done before lash extensions are applied.
If you need another lift later, please:
1. Book a removal appointment,
2. Have the lift done professionally,
3. Then return for a new lash set.

Tinting

Lash tinting is allowed, but only if done professionally.
Do not tint lashes at home, and never combine a lash lift with tinting while wearing extensions.

Heat Exposure & Lash Curl

Our latest extensions are heat-resistant, and typically maintain their curl even when exposed to:

Saunas
Hairdryers
Moderate heat environments

We’ve tested them in saunas with great results. However, 100% curl retention cannot be guaranteed, especially with frequent or high-heat exposure.

Over time in saunas, lashes may gradually lose curl and become straighter.
Avoid direct contact with hot ovens, open flames (cigarette lighter) , or intense heat, as this may cause the lash fibers to melt.
If you visit a sauna and notice your lashes have gone flat, please book an infill or a new set to restore your lash look.

Hygienic Aftercare Routine

Cleanse and brush extensions daily.

This is priority aftercare for your daily regime, protecting the lashes from infections, bacteria, mites and blepharitis.

•Use only specially designed products for lash extensions. You can purchase home care kit at Lash Centre.

•Daily lash shampooing gently removes any impurities that can build up on the eyelashes such as: sebum, sleep crust, dust and makeup residue.

*Sleep crust is a mix of mucus, exfoliated skin cells, oils, and tears produced or shed by the eye during sleep. It's a natural part of healthy eye function. During the day, all of that debris is washed away by blinking natural tears, which keep it from sticking around.

•Daily hygiene greatly improves lash longevity and protects your eyelashes and lids from germs and lash lice.
•To extend your lash extensions life please wash them regularly, pat dry top/bottom and gently comb through after each cleanse.

•Brush them as needed from the top by rolling the brush band. Never comb the bottom.

•As natural eyelashes are growing it will make extensions grow too and they may twist/drop/fall out of lash line and look messy; to maintain a good finish appearance book Infills, a maintenance appointment which will add missing and replace the overgrown lashes.

Lash and Brow Serum £45

InLei® Adiutrix is a serum created using advanced plant-based technologies, NO Hormones!

which stimulate the lengthening of the hair, give volume and enhance the shine of the entire hair structure.

Innovative Features

InLei® Adiutrix is based on two active ingredients:

REBALANCING Complex: penetrating deeply, it rebalances the follicular cycle of the hair favouring the development of stronger and thicker hairs - obtained from a concentrate of mung bean sprouts and red clover;

VOLUMIZING Complex: molecules that hydrate the structure and smooth the hair's surface, also increasing its volume - based on rice amino acids and fermented date extract.

For the development of this product, InLei® laboratories created 18 different formulations that were meticulously tested and analysed. None fully satisfied them until InLei® Adiutrix was born!

Adiutrix Lash and Brow Serum has been meticulously developed by the team at InLei® to enhance the natural lashes and brows either by itself, or in conjunction with InLei® Lash Filler & Brow Bomber treatments.

The aim with InLei® Adiutrix was to create a serum that didn’t have any ill-effects on the hair shaft or root in the long run, but which nourished the hairs from the bulb all the way to the tip.

Adiutrix simply means ‘helper’ - it was the name of a legion of the Roman Empire created in 70AD to help with the main Roman army!

InLei® Adiutrix was formed to help the already amazing InLei® Lash and Brow Lamination treatments once clients are looking after their lashes and brows at home!

The goal from the very beginning has been to combine:

- THE QUALITY of the ingredients, which has always distinguished the InLei® brand

- THE SAFETY of the formulation

- THE EFFECTIVENESS of the product
